How to Promote Productivity

Below are some tips to boost productivity, whether you need them for work, school, or your other passions:

1. Make time for breaks
A good idea is to set alarms for when your breaks start & end. Sometimes taking a brief step away from intense work can help improve your focus when you get back to it!

2. Write a to-do list that prioritizes your tasks and responsibilities

This can be harder than it sounds since we have the tendency of wanting to finish everything, but making a priority chart (search ‘priority matrix’ on the web to find a template) can really help organize what you need to complete.

3. Find a quiet workplace that can help maximize your concentration

4. Make sure you're in a good or pleasant mood, or else frustration, anger, and other negative emotions will fog your thinking and decision-making.

5. Limit distractions
This includes your phone, iPad, other electronic devices that you do not need to finish tasks, and frankly, certain people too.

6, Avoid multitasking

This could result in you being unable to efficiently and successfully complete any of the tasks you were multitasking because you could not focus on a single task by itself. So, try doing each of them one at a time!
